Based in Amsterdam, Caspar Röell is fervently dedicated to guiding companies and their leaders in embracing new technologies to digitalize operations, spur growth, and develop unique approaches of their own for tapping the associated opportunities.

Before joining Egon Zehnder, Caspar spent more than a decade working for Google in Dublin, Amsterdam, and Singapore, during which time he held various management positions with responsibility for media and technology sales across the fintech, travel, telecommunication, and consumer sectors. During his final year there, Caspar was the Global Account Co-Lead for Airbnb and a member of the APAC Fintech Practice Group. He currently supplements his consulting work by serving as a non-executive human resources director at the Dutch travel agency Charlie’s Travels.
Caspar earned a bachelor of law degree (LLB) from Utrecht Law College while specializing in civil and notary law and a master’s degree in corporate law (LLM) from the Vrij Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam), supplemented by a summer semester studying international CSR and human rights at Columbia University in New York. Outside work, he belongs to the board of a company that organizes adventure tours in Africa; contributes to and is a member of African Parks, an NGO focused on biodiversity management; and is a fundraiser and volunteer for KLABU, an NGO that builds sports facilities in UNHCR refugee camps. Caspar stays fit by regularly playing tennis, golfing, skiing, and running, and enjoys traveling, especially in Africa.
