Julie Kalt, based in Boston, is a leader in Egon Zehnder’s Leadership Advisory Practice. Julie partners with clients on leadership assessment, individual and team development, succession planning, executive integration and and building effective talent management tools, training and systems. She is certified in interpreting and delivering psychometric tools, which she deploys with individuals and teams. Julie works closely with her clients to define, embed and develop the leadership culture that will help their organization achieve its strategic objectives while also enabling feedback, individual development and transparency. She has led some of the firm’s largest assessment projects in North America. Her work spans the private sector, family-owned businesses and the social sector. Julie began her career at Egon Zehnder in the Industrial Practice with a focus in Machinery and Automotive segments.

Julie has co-authored several articles including “Transforming in a Disrupted World”, “The Board Role in a Changing Talent Landscape” (Corporate Board), “We Need More Humble Leaders. Here’s How to Get Them” (Fast Company), and “Overcoming Emotions and Conflicts to Plan for Leadership Succession” (Family Business Magazine).

Before joining Egon Zehnder, Julie consulted to organizations in the social sector, working on projects to increase their capacity to deliver on their missions. Prior to that, she worked in Massachusetts state government. Julie earned a BA in International Relations from Tufts University and an MA in Social-Organizational Psychology from Columbia University.
