Alin Adomeit is part of the firm’s Health Practice in Germany. She has deep experience in therapeutics, health-care services, and academia. Alin provides executive and board search as well as senior leadership development services and a variety of other leadership solutions for senior executives at global companies. She is also active in Egon Zehnder’s Public and Social Sector Practice and Family Business Advisory.

Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Alin was an Associate Principal with McKinsey & Company, based in Munich, where she led strategy, operations, and organization engagements for health-care and pharma clients. Alin began her career as a physician, first as a resident in internal medicine/oncology at the University Hospital Center in Bonn, then as a registrar in gynecology at the University Hospital Center in Dusseldorf, focusing on clinical practice and research in gynecological oncology.
Alin studied medicine and completed her doctorate at the University of Bonn in Germany, while spending semesters abroad at University College Dublin and the University of Lausanne. She is devoted to her family and loves to sing and play music with her husband and two children, in addition to hiking and skiing together.
Alin Adomeit ist Mitglied der deutschen Health Praxisgruppe. Ihre Schwerpunkte sind im Gesundheitswesen sowie im Öffentlichen Sektor. Neben globalen Konzernen in den Segmenten Pharma/Biotech und Medizinprodukte engagiert sie sich auch für Familienunternehmen. Sie berät Institutionen im Bereich Healthcare Services. Darüber hinaus berät sie akademische Organisationen bei Nachfolgeprozessen. Alin Adomeit evaluiert Führungskräfte im Rahmen von Management Appraisals, entwickelt Teams und ist im Bereich Executive Coaching aktiv.
Vor ihrem Wechsel zu Egon Zehnder war Alin Adomeit Associate Principal im Münchener Büro von McKinsey & Company. Dort verantwortete sie Strategie-, Organisations- und Operations-Projekte für Pharmafirmen und Unternehmen im Gesundheitswesen. Ihre berufliche Laufbahn begann sie als Ärztin im Praktikum in der Inneren Medizin und Onkologie an der Universitätsklinik Bonn. Danach war sie Assistenzärztin am Universitätsklinikum Düsseldorf im Bereich Gynäkologie und gynäkologische Onkologie.
Ihr medizinisches Staatsexamen legte Alin Adomeit an der Universität Bonn ab, wo sie auch promovierte (Dr. med.). Teile ihres Studiums absolvierte sie am University College in Dublin und an der Universität Lausanne.
