Based in London, Rian Raghavjee is the Global Asset Management segment leader, working on mandates both in the UK and internationally. He is also a member of the Firm’s Global Financial Services Practice leadership team. Rian provides leadership advice to clients across a broad range of talent needs including board advisory, CEO succession, talent management, and senior leadership development and coaching. Furthermore, he leads the UK Risk Management segment of the Firm’s Financial Services Practice at both board and executive levels.

Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Rian co-founded a company to build multi-commodity trading businesses for clients and led the origination function in identifying structured commodity trading opportunities and asset investments. He began his career as a mechanical engineer on the underground gold mines in South Africa. Rian has served on the board of the World Gold Council.
Rian has a BSc in engineering from the University of KwaZulu Natal and an MSc in engineering from the University of the Witwatersrand, both of which are in South Africa. He is also a CFA Charterholder. Rian grew up in South Africa and the UK.
