Sven Petersen, a German Brazilian who has called London home for the past 25 years, is a trusted advisor to CEOs and Boards, particularly in the context of CEO and C-suite successions. He primarily supports CEOs as they transition into their roles or navigate changes within them. Additionally, he advises on assessment, leadership development, board and executive search.

I am deeply invested in the transformational work that allows leaders to push the threshold of their current leadership patterns and practising the art of the possible.

Sven studied under organizational psychologists Bill Critchley and Charlotte Sills at Ashridge Business School and is committed to helping his clients to become more reflective practitioners, enabling them to understand and transform their deeply ingrained leadership operating models. He predominantly works with clients across various sectors, focusing on technology and telecommunications, and currently leads Egon Zehnder’s UK Technology Practice. He is also a core faculty member for transformational development programs delivered in partnership with Mobius Executive Leadership. These programs encourage participants to adopt a holistic approach to self-awareness, fostering sustainable growth and behavioral shifts rooted in self-mastery.

Before joining Egon Zehnder, Sven was the Founder and Managing Director of the talent advisory firm P5 Management in London. Prior to P5, he served as a Senior Consultant with the media and telecoms strategy firms Fathom Partners and Spectrum Strategy Consultants. Sven holds an MSc in Executive Coaching from Ashridge Business School (EMCC accredited) and a BSc in International Relations from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
