Hicham Sharara leads Egon Zehnder’s Global Service Practice which includes Real Estate, Hospitality & Leisure, Transportation & Logistics, Professional Services, Business Services, Travel & Tourism, Travel Technology and Air Transport. Based in Dubai, Hicham is a trusted advisor to governments, public and private organizations on their most critical and senior appointments or leadership challenges. He guides international clients globally and regionally on senior topics ranging from Board to CEO and C-Level succession. He has deep experience in emerging markets and is increasingly focusing on leadership solutions beyond search where he is consulted on broader transformation matters that include culture, organization and individual interventions.

Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Hicham was the Director of Asset & Hospitality Management at the Dubai World Trade Center, managing its portfolio of commercial, residential, retail, and hospitality assets. Before that he served as a Senior Financial Auditor with Ernst & Young based in Paris, serving clients in the real estate, telecommunications, and energy sectors.
Hicham earned an MS in auditing from HEC Paris, a degree in civil engineering from ESTP in Paris, and an MBA from the London Business School. Hicham is a watersport enthusiast who was born in Dakar, Senegal, is married and has three children.
