Based in Milan, Alessandro Valduga helps market leading organisations deal with a wide range of leadership themes, including executive search and developing and transforming leaders and teams. He is especially passionate about helping clients forge an effective management strategy and resolving complex governance issues in family businesses.

Before joining Egon Zehnder, Alessandro headed the office of the general manager of Prelios in Milan. That was preceded by eight years as a senior engagement manager with McKinsey & Company in Milan, during which time he acquired the expertise and capabilities of an all-round strategy consultant while supporting both local and global organisations and especially universal banks, insurers and wealth and asset management firms.
Alessandro’s alma mater is Imperial College London, where he earned a BSc in mathematics with honours. He also completed an MSc in international management from Bocconi University (cum laude) and a Master in International Management diploma from CEMS, while also attending HEC Paris. Alessandro rounded out his studies with an MBA with distinction from Columbia Business School in New York. When not working, he enjoys spending time with his three children, Adalberto, Ottavia and Ambrogio. Alessandro’s passions also include literature, tennis, the Inter Milan football club and exploring mountains.
