Darius Chehrzad, based in Seattle, is a consultant in Egon Zehnder's Health, Financial Services, and Private Capital Practice Groups. Darius draws on his experience as an operator, advisor and director to help clients navigate complex challenges at the intersection of strategy, talent and growth. His work spans diverse areas, including CEO and board searches, executive assessments, and development journeys.

Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Darius served as Chief Commercial Officer and Board Member at Paytient, a venture-backed startup focused on improving healthcare affordability; under his leadership, the company scaled to serve over 20 Million members across the U.S. Earlier in his career, he was an Associate Partner at McKinsey & Company, where he advised Fortune 500 companies on a range of topics including strategy, growth, and risk management. His professional journey also includes international development work in Bolivia, technology consulting, and a startup in the media and entertainment sector.
Darius holds an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from McGill University. A dual Canadian-American citizen, he is fluent in English, French, Spanish, and Farsi. Outside of work, he enjoys backcountry skiing, camping, playing guitar, and spending time with his family. He also serves on the Board of Directors of Verity Credit Union in Seattle.
