Based at Egon Zehnder’s Pacific Northwest Office in Seattle, Margo Stokum draws on a deep background in professional services to enthusiastically serve the local business community. She leverages her comprehensive talent strategy and management consulting experience to build trust-based relationships with clients, grasp their challenges, and design appropriate human-centric solutions for resolving them. Margo is passionate about helping them take holistic approaches for navigating shifting workforce dynamics, including those related to culture, diversity, leadership development, and team effectiveness.

A company’s culture and people are often an underused accelerator for achieving business goals. I’m passionate about building relationships and finding new solutions to close that gap.

Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Margo was a Director in PwC’s management consulting practice based in the San Francisco Bay Area, leading teams on client projects to design and implement future-ready people strategies. That included driving behavior-based culture change, enhancing employee experiences, aligning people and business strategies, and optimizing the end-to-end talent lifecycle. Previously she was with Talener, a national technology recruiting agency, launching its new office in Washington, D.C. and then taking charge of its San Francisco office to help clients design and build their tech teams in an extremely competitive talent market.

Margo earned a BA in physics from the University of Pennsylvania and an MS in management from Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business. In her free time, she is passionate about hiking, skiing, paddleboarding, solving puzzles of all kinds, and exploring the Pacific Northwest with her husband and their dog.
