Yoshiko Ogawa is active in Egon Zehnder’s Technology & Communications, HR and Sustainability Practice Group. She is a valued advisor with a special focus on global talent appraisal and leadership development, CEO/CXO succession planning, culture transformation and executive search. She has worked on these challenges with companies in a variety of industries, including technology, healthcare and industrial services across the EMEA and APAC regions. Prior to becoming an Egon Zehnder consultant in Stuttgart, Germany, Yoshiko served as a Leadership Advisory Expert within the firm.

Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Yoshiko started her career as a People and Organization Consultant with IBM, advising functional departments and sales organizations of global corporations on their global transformation, defining strategy and optimizing business processes across industries.
Yoshiko earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from Waseda University. Outside of work, Yoshiko volunteers for non-profit organizations in the areas of youth leadership development and women’s empowerment. She also enjoys climbing up to viewpoints when she travels, baking bread from different countries, and exploring new locations on foot with her husband.

Bevor sie ihre Karriere bei Egon Zehnder begann, sammelte Yoshiko Erfahrungen als Personal- und Organisationsberaterin bei IBM, wo sie Fachabteilungen und Vertriebsorganisationen globaler Unternehmen bei ihrer globalen Transformation beriet, Strategien definierte und Geschäftsprozesse branchenübergreifend optimierte.
Yoshiko Ogawa erwarb einen Bachelor-Abschluss in Politikwissenschaften an der Waseda University. Außerhalb ihrer Arbeit engagiert sich Yoshiko ehrenamtlich für gemeinnützige Organisationen in den Bereichen der Entwicklung von Führungsqualitäten bei jungen Menschen und der Stärkung der Rolle der Frau. Außerdem klettert sie gerne auf Aussichtspunkte, wenn sie reist, backt Brot aus verschiedenen Nationen und erkundet mit ihrem Mann neue Orte zu Fuß.
