Based in Vienna, Magdalena Riepl-Doppler is active in Egon Zehnder’s Industrial, Services and Technology & Communications practices. She applies her deep familiarity with these sectors to help multinational corporations, small and midsized companies, family businesses and private-equity-backed companies find and prepare suitable candidates for top executive and supervisory board positions.

Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Magdalena spent several years with the Hilti Group, most recently as Head of Operational Excellence for Central and Eastern Europe, with a focus on circular economy and sustainability. Prior to this position, she was a Group Leader in the Anchors Business Unit in Liechtenstein after serving as Head of Production, Logistics and Technical Services at Hilti Kunststofftechnik GmbH in Bavaria. Before that, Magdalena worked for many years for Festool GmbH & TTS Tooltechnic Systems in Stuttgart, where she held various management positions. In addition to her main professional activity, Magdalena worked as a speaker and coach and was a lecturer at HS Offenburg.
Magdalena studied mechanical and industrial engineering at ETH Zurich and TU Vienna and earned a BSc and MSc from TU Vienna. Outside work she is active in the LEADING WOMEN business and career platform and the Manager Lounge decision-maker network in Germany. In her free time, Magdalena enjoys kitesurfing, horseback riding, dancing, playing music, cooking, and baking, all of this ideally with her husband and their son.

Sie nutzt ihre umfassende Branchenkenntnis, um multinationalen Konzernen, kleinen und mittelständischen Unternehmen, Familienunternehmen und Private-Equity-gestützten Firmen dabei zu helfen, geeignete Kandidat:innen für Spitzenpositionen im Management und Aufsichtsrat zu finden und auf ihre Rolle vorzubereiten.
Bevor sie zu Egon Zehnder kam, arbeitete Magdalena Riepl-Doppler mehrere Jahre bei der Hilti Gruppe, zuletzt als Head of Operational Excellence für Zentral- und Osteuropa mit Fokus auf Circular Economy und Nachhaltigkeit. Zuvor war sie Gruppenleiterin in der Business Unit Anchors in Liechtenstein, nachdem sie als Leiterin der Produktion, Logistik und des technischen Services bei der Hilti Kunststofftechnik GmbH in Bayern tätig war. Ihren Karriereweg begann Magdalena Riepl-Doppler mit einer langjährigen Tätigkeit in verschiedenen Führungspositionen bei der Festool GmbH & TTS Tooltechnic Systems in Stuttgart. Neben ihrer hauptberuflichen Tätigkeit arbeitete sie als Referentin und Coachin und war Dozentin an der Hochschule Offenburg.
Magdalena Riepl-Doppler hat Maschinenbau und Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen an der ETH Zürich und der TU Wien studiert und einen Bachelor- und Masterabschluss an der TU Wien erworben. Außerhalb der Arbeit ist sie in der LEADING WOMEN Business- und Karriereplattform und im Manager Lounge Entscheidernetzwerk in Deutschland aktiv. In ihrer Freizeit genießt Magdalena Riepl-Doppler Kitesurfen, Reiten, Tanzen, Musizieren, Kochen und Backen – am liebsten gemeinsam mit ihrem Mann und ihrem Sohn.
