Hilke Öry, based in Amsterdam, leads Egon Zehnder’s Financial Services practice for The Netherlands. She is also a core member of Egon Zehnder’s Private Capital Practice, and a founding member of the firm’s Financial Tech Practice. She conducts both executive and board search and is actively involved in senior leadership assessment and development projects.

Before joining Egon Zehnder, Hilke was a Vice President of Morgan Stanley Alternative Investment Partners’ private equity business in London. That was preceded by work in the Swiss and London offices of Partners Group, a global private-market assets manager. Hilke began her career as a Consulting Associate at Cambridge Associates, where she gave portfolio investment advice to some of the world’s largest institutional investors.
Hilke earned a BA in mathematics from Dartmouth College and an MBA from INSEAD. In her free time, she devotes herself to her husband, twin boys and daughter, loves skiing, kitesurfing and other outdoor sports, and tries to lead a healthy, sustainable life.
