Gaurav Gupta, based in Bangalore, leads the firm’s Technology & Communications Practice in India and is also active in the Industrial and Services practices and in Family Business Advisory. He is a trusted advisor to clients across IT and IT enabled Services, high-tech, manufacturing, and digital, with an additional focus on large, family-owned businesses in southern India. Gaurav conducts executive and board searches, assesses management and team effectiveness, and provides leadership development advice.

Gaurav has over 20 years of strategic and operational consulting experience. Before joining Egon Zehnder, he was a Partner at A.T. Kearney and led its technology and BPO practices in India. Prior to that, Gaurav was a Managing Partner at the Everest Group and built that firm’s consulting business in India and other Asian countries. Earlier, he worked for Infosys Technologies in the United States and McKinsey & Company in India.
Gaurav earned a BA in economics from St. Stephen’s College, in Delhi, and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, in Bangalore. When not working, he travels widely with his wife and children.
