Cecilia Lehmann, based in Hamburg, is active in Egon Zehnder’s Industrial Practice with particular focuses on energy, building materials and manufacturing companies. She brings a personal touch to helping clients find and develop suitable candidates for C-suite roles.

Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Cecilia had the role of Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Co. in Berlin and Hamburg.
Cecilia earned an MSc in management from the ESCP Europe Business School and a PhD from the Technical University of Dortmund, submitting a thesis on C-suite composition and how power interactions among C-suite members impact companies’ performance. Her work has been presented at several academic conferences and published in the Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science. Cecilia leads an active lifestyle, staying fit with running, hiking and other outdoor sports, and enjoys traveling. Besides her native German, she is fluent in English.

Sie unterstützt ihre Klienten dabei, die bestmöglichen Kandidaten für ihre jeweiligen Führungsaufgaben zu identifizieren, zu gewinnen und weiterzuentwickeln.
Vor ihrem Engagement bei Egon Zehnder war Cecilia Lehmann als Projektleiterin für McKinsey & Company tätig.
Die Dynamiken, die bei der Zusammenarbeit von Vorstandsteams eine gewichtige Rolle spielen, hat Cecilia Lehmann bereits im Rahmen ihrer Doktorarbeit an der TU Dortmund untersucht. Ihre viel beachtete Dissertation „Antecedents of CMO and CFO presence on the TMT and the consequences of their power struggle“ wurde auf Fachkonferenzen präsentiert und im Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science publiziert. Ihr Studium an der ESCP Europe Business School beendete Cecilia mit einem Masterabschluss in Management.
