Benno Jaeggi

Benno Jaeggi, based in Hong Kong, is a core member of Egon Zehnder’s Financial Services practice with a particular focus on Banking, Markets and Fintech. He leads the Banking & Markets practice in Asia-Pacific and Co-Heads the Blockchain, Digital Asset and Web3 practice for Egon Zehnder globally. Benno draws on his extensive experience in the Financial Services industry to advise on executive search, board consulting, and executive assessments. Benno believes that people are at the core of every business, and is passionate to inspire leaders to bring out the best in their teams.

Before joining Egon Zehnder, Benno was an executive with one of the largest digital asset businesses in Asia, and prior to that he spent more than a decade in Wholesale Banking and on the Markets trading floors at ABN AMRO, RBS and ANZ Bank, most recently as the Global COO for Distribution and Origination at ANZ Global Markets.

Benno is the Co-President of the Swiss Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong, and serves on the boards of the German-Swiss International School Hong Kong and Balance Health Group, a leading holistic wellness business in Asia. Benno earned a Master’s degree in Business Administration and IT management from the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland and an MBA in Finance from the Hong Kong University of Science & Technology. Benno is passionate about his golf handicap, follows his favorite football teams around the world and enjoys spending time with his wife and two children.
