Before joining Egon Zehnder, Zhafira was the cofounder and CEO of Babyloania, Indonesia’s leading marketplace for affordable baby equipment rentals. Prior to that she was an Associate and corporate lawyer at SSEK Legal Consultants, specializing in M&A, the capital market and investment, banking and mining. Earlier, Zhafira was an Associate at Bahar and Partners. Zhafira launched her career as a volunteer paralegal at the Indonesian Legal Aid Institute.
Zhafira earned a Bachelor of Law from the University of Indonesia and a Master of Laws (LL.M) from Columbia University. Being passionate about empowering women, she cofounded and continues to be active at Stellar Women, a platform that offers online classes, mentoring, and networking events for Indonesian women. Married with two daughters, in her free time she enjoys traveling, golfing, practicing yoga, and acrylic painting.
