Based in London, Elena Edrenkina is active in Egon Zehnder’s Leadership Advisory, Industrial and Human Resources practices. She draws on her deep training and experience to support clients in improving the performance of their leaders and organisations, designing and implementing talent strategies, and assessing and developing candidates for top positions. Elena is also appreciated for her ability to help leaders and teams open themselves to new ways of thinking and working, whilst build diverse and inclusive organisations.

I love giving clients my undivided attention, creating a space in which they can be open and authentic and feel heard, seen and supported.

Before joining Egon Zehnder, Elena had a successful international and multisectoral career in Human Resources at Microsoft in the USA, Switzerland and the UK. Earlier she helped strengthen cooperation with the Department of Education of the Philippines while working as a Linguistic Attaché at the French Embassy in Manila. Elena launched her career working in Marketing at Chanel Russia and Nestlé France before becoming a Strategy Consultant with PriceWaterhouseCoopers in Paris.

Elena earned an MSc. in management from EM Lyon, spending semesters abroad at East China Normal University in Shanghai, and at Vienna University of Economics and Business. She also earned an MBA from Harvard Business School. Outside work, Elena enjoys volunteering and participates in initiatives to alleviate loneliness in elderly people and advance women’s empowerment. In her free time, she enjoys immersing herself in different cultures, learning languages, swing dancing and exploring London’s museums and theatre scene.
