Magali McIntyre advises technology organisations, financial services clients, and private equity-backed high-growth companies on leadership challenges. She leads executive and board searches as well as management appraisals and leadership advisory mandates. She applies her experience as a company founder and TMT investment banker to help clients manage transformation processes and growth phases. Based in London, she co-leads the Global Financial Technology practice of Egon Zehnder. She has particular expertise in the CEO and CFO functions as well as senior roles in technology and innovation. She has extensive experience in the fields of data and analytics, AI and Blockchain.

Magali started her career in investment banking at Lehman Brothers, where she focused on M&A in the telecommunications and media industry as a senior associate. She left to become the Founder and CEO of an award-winning marketplace for career advice, and Debtscribe, a fintech real-time intelligence provider for high-yield debt investors. She remains very active as an advisor and mentor to the London and Paris start-up communities.
Magali has a master’s degree in business from ESSEC Business School in Paris and studied Law at the University of Cergy.

Magali started her career at Arthur Anderson in Paris in 2000 in transaction services and restructuring and then moved into a mid-cap M&A business segment at Arthur Andersen as an analyst. She joined Lehman Brothers investment banking division in 2002 as part of the TMT team as a senior associate until 2008. She is the founder of three tech companies launched between 2011 and 2015: route-in, an interview preparation platform, Nuggle, a social media mobile app and Debtscribe, a real-time intelligence site for the high yield debt market. She also held roles as advisor and mentor in the London start-up community.
