Paul Havranek founded the Infrastructure segment of Egon Zehnder’s global Private Capital and Industrial practices in 2006. Having led the global infrastructure segment until 2024, Paul continues to focus on this sector supporting the firm’s global efforts from London. He guides financial services, private equity and industrial clients and he has deep expertise in executive and non-executive recruitment for funds and portfolios. He is also active in Egon Zehnder’s Board Consulting and CEO practices.
Strategy execution by senior management is the true predictor of company performance. As a management consultant, I enjoy adding to the debate and connecting people on my home turf: the infrastructure sector.
Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Paul was Head of Research and a Board Director at Arbuthnot Securities. Previously, he was a Partner at Cazenove and Co. and a Director of Corporate Finance and Global Equities. He also ran a research department and led a private placement business within the corporate finance sector.
Paul has an MA from Oxford University and an MBA from Manchester Business School. He regularly writes briefings that highlight global talent trends and issues in the infrastructure asset class. In his free time, he enjoys playing tennis, modern art and walking along the Cornish cliffs. Paul was impacted by physical disability in 2011. He returned to work in 2012 and continues to work at EZ as a Partner of the firm.
