Before joining Egon Zehnder, Daniel was with Pfizer in Mexico City; he advanced from the role of Portfolio Development Manager to Portfolio Marketing Director, defining strategy and implementing key projects in dozens of emerging markets. Prior to that he gained extensive consulting experience at Akya, a prominent Mexico City-based business consultancy. Earlier, Daniel was with Sigma Alimentos in Monterrey, a leading producer and distributor of refrigerated and frozen foods, advancing to Senior Project Leader for Strategic Planning and then Marketing Project Lead.
Daniel earned a BS in industrial and systems engineering from the TEC de Monterrey with semesters abroad at UC Berkeley. He completed an MBA at Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business. Outside work he enjoys traveling with his wife and four children, playing golf, paddle tennis, and following Formula One.
