Raed Kanaan is the Managing Partner of Egon Zehnder Middle East. He shares his deep financial and business expertise as an advisor with government entities, industrial companies, banks, private equity firms, large public listed entities, and family-owned companies. He fully understands the intricacies of doing business in the Gulf region, especially in the UAE and Saudi Arabia, where he has executed numerous mandates. Based in Egon Zehnder’s Dubai office, he co-leads the firm’s Financial Services Practice for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) and is also active in the Public and Social Sector. He guides clients in executive search, strategy, management appraisal, leadership development, and team effectiveness.

Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Raed was a corporate and investment banker for over 20 years. He was a Managing Director at J.P. Morgan covering the MENA region and earlier in his career held various roles at ABN AMRO Bank and Citibank.
Raed has a BSc and MSc (Econ) from the London School of Economics and is a CFA charterholder.
