Based in Milan, Alarico Allegri is active in Egon Zehnder’s Industrial and Digital practices, co-leads the European practice for IT Services and advises Founders in startups and scaleups.

Before joining Egon Zehnder, Alarico was a Principal at Amazon Web Services in Switzerland, and prior to that he served as the CEO of MRX Technologies, a global business headquartered in Australia and United Kingdom developing preventive maintenance solutions for the rail industry: after taking the helm from the CEO-Founder, he led the turnaround, scaleup, international expansion, and subsequent integration into the Siemens Group. Earlier, Alarico worked as a project leader at Siemens Advanta Consulting in Germany, advising top management on strategy and turnarounds to drive growth. He began his career at Protiviti advising blue chip clients across Europe, Africa, and North America on corporate governance, internal audit, and risk management. Over the years, Alarico has also served on two boards of directors.
Alarico earned a B.B.A. (cum laude) in Business from Carlo Cattaneo University, an MSc (cum laude) in Economics and Social Sciences from Bocconi University, and an MBA in Switzerland from IMD (International Institute for Management Development) before graduating from the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD). Alarico lived in 6 countries and worked in over 20, is married with two children, and enjoys long distance biking, fixed-gear biking, and travelling.
