Sameera Sandhu, based in New Delhi, focuses on executive search, board consulting and leadership advisory as a member of Egon Zehnder’s Industrial Practice Group. She works closely with clients in the natural resources, clean energy and mobility sectors, and particularly across the EV value chain—from downstream automotive suppliers and OEMs to upstream producers of battery minerals. Furthermore, Sameera has over a decade of specialization in mining and metals—an industry that is core to all industrial sectors and today’s global decarbonization agenda.

I’m passionate about replacing the old paradigm of ‘business as usual’ with that of ‘business as a force for good’ while helping leaders shape the future of India and the world.

Sameera draws on over 17 years of experience in management consulting roles, advising companies globally on business and talent strategies. Earlier in her career, Sameera was a core member of Ernst & Young’s Global Industrial Practice focused on strategic market intelligence and transaction advisory services. She began her career as an underwriter at GE Capital. Sameera is particularly passionate about helping companies strengthen their leadership and attain the next level on their sustainability journeys. She has published several thought leadership papers, including on the leadership implications of ESG, and been a guest speaker on the future impact of the transition to green energy.

Sameera earned a B.Com. degree from Delhi University and a global executive MBA from INSEAD while specialising in business strategy and sustainability. Outside work, Sameera is a passionate collector of art, enjoys reading historical fiction and discovering great music, and travels widely and often.
