Based in San Francisco, Julia Nenke leads the firms Leadership Advisory Practice for North America. As a leadership and transformation specialist, she works across industries helping leaders navigate their most complex talent and organizational challenges.

Julia has deep expertise in the assessment and development of senior leaders and improving the effectiveness of executive teams. She is passionate about the human dimension of leadership and works as a coach and thought partner to senior leaders on their own development and the approach to transforming their teams and organizations.
Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Julia had extensive executive experience as a CHRO working directly with CEO’s, Boards and Executive teams to accelerate organizational performance and cultivate talent. She has worked in a variety of sectors including technology, consumer products, healthcare and private equity sectors. Most recently she was the CHRO for a software company, Vertafore, owned by TPG.
Julia earned an MBA from the University of Melbourne and has completed a Leadership Coaching Certificate from the Institute of Transformational Leadership at Georgetown University. The mother of teenage children, she is passionate about family, friends, and shared experiences. As an avid traveler and cook, gathering around a crowded table for a great meal, laughter and conversation is one of her favorite things.
