Francisco serves companies across the industrial and consumer sectors and leads the Chief Financial Officer practice in Canada. Francisco has broad experience in executive and board search and in leadership advisory. He is also a member of the global Diversity, Equity & Inclusion practice group.
I enjoy getting to know people, companies, and industries and figuring out what makes them tick ― then matching them to what is needed to achieve large-scale positive change.
Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, he worked for Maple Leaf Foods, serving as Vice President of FP&A, Vice President of Finance for the Fresh Prepared Foods division, and Senior Director of Business Analysis in the CEO’s office. Before that, Francisco held the role of Operations Manager for Schlumberger International’s Canadian Utility Services division.
Originally from Chile, Francisco brings a diverse ethnic and international background, having lived in 9 countries during his life. He earned a Bachelor of Industrial Engineering from Andrés Bello Catholic University in Caracas, Venezuela and an MBA from the Schulich School of Business at York University in Toronto. He is also a Chartered Professional Accountant and a Certified Management Accountant.
