Julia Ivory, based in Toronto, draws on deep experience in retail, consumer goods, and services to help both rapidly growing companies and incumbents meet their evolving talent needs. She is a leader in Egon Zehnder’s Consumer and Private Capital practices, and active in the firm’s Services practice.

Before joining Egon Zehnder, Julia worked for McKinsey and Company where she was an Associate Partner. As a member of that firm’s retail and consumer goods practice, she advised leading brands, retailers and investors on acquisition targets, growth strategies, consumer insights, and transformation topics. Julia began her career at Loblaw Companies Ltd., where she worked as a Manager of Strategic Planning & Insights for the Grocery business, and as a Merchant in Health and Beauty.

Julia earned a Bachelor of Commerce from Queen’s University and an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. Outside of work, she spends most of her time chasing after her three young children, Henry, Alice and Louisa.
