Clemens Hoegl has global expertise in financial services at the board and top executive levels and is active in Egon Zehnder’s CEO, Board Consulting, Financial Services, Financial Officers, and Human Resources practices. Based in Zurich, he advises numerous dynamic international clients. Clemens also serves cultural institutions with a focus on the performing arts and museums. During his time at Egon Zehnder, he has led the Swiss offices and worked in the Geneva and Singapore offices.

Before working at Egon Zehnder, Clemens was an Engagement Manager with McKinsey & Company, based in Vienna and Geneva. Earlier, he was a professional double bass player with the Orchester der Hessischen Staatsoper Wiesbaden and a music critic.
Clemens earned a PhD in business administration and a master’s degree in musicology from Johann Wolfgang Goethe Universität in Frankfurt. A dedicated musician, Clemens is closely involved with several performing arts institutions and museums and has taught arts management at the University of Zurich. He has lived and worked in several European countries as well as Singapore. In his spare time, Clemens enjoys sports, music, and nature.
