Has the world embraced the need to drive gender diversity? To mark this year’s International Women’s Day, Forbes Magazine reports on a: “Leader and Daughters: Cultivating the Next Generation of Leaders,” event hosted by Egon Zehnder as part of its global initiative to accelerate opportunities for female leaders of the future. Commenting on the initiative, Egon Zehnder’s CEO Rajeev Vasudeva said: “It is our responsibility as the global leader in our profession to create forums where real dialogue can occur and improved workplace behaviors and opportunities might be realized. Only then can we change the course of success for female leaders of tomorrow.” Taking a national view, Egon Zehnder consultant Miranda Pode added: “The big challenge in the UK is no longer women in the boardroom but women at executive level. For this, we want to create lasting and meaningful solutions that improve diversity and inclusion.”
