50 senior business women open the Swiss Stock Exchange

The opening of the Zurich stock exchange on 12 March 2013 was heralded by a group of 50 senior business women ringing symbolic bells of change. The event, organized by the Corporate Women Directors International, aimed to highlight the need for greater female representation at board level to implement change in the financial sector. Speaking at the event, Damien O’Brien, Chief Executive and Chairman of Egon Zehnder, noted that most companies judge women on their performance to date, but place a greater emphasis on future potential when considering male candidates.
