Fast Company – Board Chairs Drive Gender Diversity

Why is progress with gender diversity disappointingly slow, asks Fast Company? According to Egon Zehnder’s 2016 Global Board Diversity Analysis, diversity is often led by a board chair. "When diversity is a priority at the top, it will trickle down to board representation, board behavior, and overall mind-set," write the report’s authors. Unfortunately, men still occupy 95% of those positions. At the global rate seen over the last two years, gender parity remains 20 years away, they warn.
