Claire FitzGerald, based in Melbourne, actively coaches clients as a member of Egon Zehnder’s Leadership Advisory. She draws on substantial experience assessing and developing leaders across a range of sectors including but not limited to retail, financial services, resources, public sector and education. Claire is especially passionate about supporting managers as they transition to new roles.

Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Claire led her own consultancy specialising in leadership assessment and coaching. Previously she was an affiliate of Pivot Leadership and a management consultant with YSC Ltd. These roles were preceded by those of Senior Consultant at Ernst & Young, Assessment Manager with the Asda Stores supermarket chain in the UK, and Senior Consultant at SHL.
Claire earned a BA in psychology from the National University of Ireland in Galway, an MSc in Organization Development from the business school of Sheffield Hallam University in the UK and an Advanced Diploma in Executive Coaching from the Academy of Executive Coaching in London. Her credentials also include accreditation as a Professional Certified Coach by the International Coaching Federation and membership in the UK Institute of Chartered Psychologists; Claire spent several years supporting the mental health charity Mind as a psychotherapist. In her spare time, she enjoys keeping fit, socialising, and spending time with her family.
