Michael Wilson, based in Melbourne, leads Egon Zehnder’s Industrial practice in Australia and New Zealand. He is a trusted advisor to boards and CEOs on their critical leadership decisions. He has a particular focus on succession planning to attract and develop executive leadership teams.

Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Michael served as the GM for Organisational Change at Australia’s fastest growing digital bank. Before that, he led global commercial innovation programs at General Electric in Fairfield, Connecticut and New York City and the regional rollout of GE’s innovation and digital transformation strategy while based in Melbourne, Australia. Earlier, Michael was with Kimberly Clark, where he managed product and technology innovations across multiple consumer and B2B brands.
Michael earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from North Carolina State University and an MBA from Cornell University. He loves spending time outdoors with his wife and two daughters and enjoys fitness, hiking, paddleboarding and basketball.
