Before joining Egon Zehnder, Uta worked at McKinsey & Company in Berlin and Munich as an Engagement Manager, where she primarily supported Public Sector clients with their IT strategies, agile transformations and digital talent acquisition. Prior to that, she served as Innovation Assistant at meetle GmbH in Leipzig. In this role and the company’s early start-up phase, she took on a broad scope of responsibilities, encompassing iOS development lead, product management and UX design.
Uta holds a PhD in physics from the University of Leipzig and Yale University, and a master’s in physics from the University of Leipzig and the University of Cambridge. Outside of work, she is an esports enthusiast, having founded Leipzig eSports e.V., one of Germany’s first amateur clubs. She enjoys playing video games and sports, like Ultimate Frisbee and beach volleyball. Uta lives in Leipzig with her spouse and two sons.

Davor war sie als Innovationsassistentin bei der meetle GmbH in Leipzig tätig. In dieser Funktion und in der frühen Start-up-Phase des Unternehmens übernahm sie ein breites Spektrum an Aufgaben, darunter die Leitung der iOS-Entwicklung, Produktmanagement und UX-Design.
Uta Allenstein hat einen Doktortitel in Physik von der Universität Leipzig und der Yale University und einen Master in Physik von der Universität Leipzig und der University of Cambridge. Neben ihrer Arbeit begeistert sie sich für E-Sports und hat mit Leipzig eSports e.V. einen der ersten Amateurvereine in Deutschland gegründet. Sie spielt gerne Videospiele und treibt Sport wie Ultimate Frisbee und Beachvolleyball. Uta Alleinstein lebt mit ihrem Mann und ihren zwei Söhnen in Leipzig.
