Naveed Bandukwala, based in Chicago, leads Egon Zehnder’s North America Automotive and Mobility Practice. With experience across the automotive and mobility ecosystem, he has deep expertise in automotive technologies and energy transition. Drawing on his prior experience in M&A, finance and capital markets, Naveed also works closely with Private Capital clients. Naveed conducts a range of leadership advisory services, including executive and board searches, CEO and CFO succession planning, and management assessment and development programs.

Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Naveed was a Senior Vice President and Executive Officer at Westell Technologies, where he led corporate development and was a segment general manager. Previously, he was in corporate development with Nokia and its former subsidiary HERE (previously known as NAVTEQ), which is a leading provider of digital map data and location technologies to the automotive industry. Naveed started his career in investment banking and consulting, having held positions at William Blair, Kearney and Merrill Lynch.
Naveed has a BS in finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and an MBA from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business. Outside of work, he and his wife and two sons enjoy traveling, outdoor sports and running.
