Sweta Chand, is based in Hong Kong - a city that has been her home intermittently since 2000. A true native of Asia, she has also lived in Singapore, India and Malaysia. She focuses on discovering and developing C-suite and board leaders. She takes a wholistic approach to leadership advisory and supports clients in the Services, Industrial, and Social Services sectors. She is passionate about coaching female leaders, and supporting an all-inclusive Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging agenda across the region.
I believe in the good of people, and I am most passionate about making the good better.
In her previous role at Egon Zehnder she was Research Principal and the Asia representative of the Global Research Leadership Team. She was also the Head of Research for the Hong Kong office. Before joining Egon Zehnder in 2015 she was a Consultant in a boutique executive search firm in Singapore. Prior to that, Sweta was a part of an entrepreneurial team that launched a private equity backed venture that focused on the Indian cottage industry.
Sweta has an MBA with a focus on Services Marketing from the S.P Jain Center of Management and a BBA with a focus on Marketing from The University of Hong Kong. She also has a certificate in Counselling and Child Psychology from the College of Allied Educators in Singapore and is certified in several leadership development and coaching tools. In her free time, Sweta is usually found discussing philosophy, spirituality and the human condition with friends – usually over good food and wine at her home. And being a (somewhat) enthusiastic student about all sorts of sports, thanks to her ceaselessly energetic 8-year-old son.
