David Howe, based in Dublin, is a core member of the Firm’s Services and Financial Officers practice group’s globally. David was previously based in the Firm’s Johannesburg office where he led the Firm’s Services and Financial Officers practice groups in Africa, overseeing C-suite and executive searches and advisory services. David worked in several markets across the continent and executed mandates in both Anglophone and Francophone markets in Central and West Africa.
What energizes me is working with clients in complex and diverse marketplaces and partnering with them on solving world class and impactful mandates.
Prior to 2012, when he co-led the establishment of the Firm’s Johannesburg office, David was based in London where he focused entirely on global Financial Officer mandates for both listed and privately held organizations and has a background in research having served as Head of Research for the Global Financial Officers Practice Group and the Johannesburg office. Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, David was in the Research function of McKinsey’s Media and Entertainment practice and started his career at Emap Plc within the business publication division.
David earned a BA in History and Politics from London Guildhall University and remains an “amateur historian” in his spare time. Additionally, he is a passionate world traveler and has traveled to close to 100 countries in Africa, Latin America, Asia and Europe.
