Dominik Schrader is the Leader of Egon Zehnder’s office in Düsseldorf, Germany, and a member of the firm’s Financial Services Practice. He advises clients from the financial services sector on executive assessment and the appointment of CEOs and board members. His clients come from the public Financial Services sector, especially savings banks, state banks, public insurers and affiliated companies, as well as from the cooperative banking sector. He also advises investors, supervisory boards and board members on filling top management positions in fintechs and insurtechs.

Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Dominik was a Principal with Boston Consulting Group, where he advised clients on strategic issues in the public and financial sectors in Europe, the Middle East and Southeast Asia. In addition, he worked for several years as Recruiting Director at Boston Consulting Group.
Dominik studied physics at the University of Bonn and the California Institute of Technology in the US. He earned both his BA and doctorate from the University of Bonn. An enthusiastic jazz piano player, Dominik has two children with his wife, Susanne.
Dominik Schrader leitet das Düsseldorfer Büro von Egon Zehnder und ist Mitglied der Praxisgruppe Financial Services. Er berät Klienten aus dem Finanzdienstleistungssektor bei der Besetzung von Vorstandsvorsitzenden- und Vorstandspositionen und in der Evaluierung von Führungspersönlichkeiten. Seine Klienten kommen aus dem öffentlichen Bankensektor, insbesondere Sparkassen, Landesbanken, öffentliche Versicherer und Verbundunternehmen, sowie aus dem genossenschaftlichen Bankensektor. Zudem berät er Investoren, Aufsichtsräte und Vorstände bei der Besetzung von Topmanagement-Positionen in Fintechs und Insurtechs.
Vor seinem Wechsel zu Egon Zehnder war Dominik Schrader Principal bei Boston Consulting Group, für die er Klienten des öffentlichen sowie des Finanzsektors in Europa, im Nahen Osten und in Südostasien zu strategischen Fragestellungen beriet. Zudem war Dominik Schrader mehrere Jahre lang als Recruiting Director bei Boston Consulting Group tätig.
Dominik Schrader studierte Physik an der Universität Bonn und am California Institute of Technology in den USA. Er erlangte sowohl sein Diplom als auch die Doktorwürde an der Universität Bonn.
