Gaëlle Boix is the Managing Partner of Egon Zehnder in Geneva and a core member of the firm’s Health, CEO and Board Practices. She focuses on healthcare and serves clients across pharma, generics, and medical devices. Her clients include large international companies with headquarters in Europe as well as select local and regional players based in Switzerland. Gaëlle’s experience spans general management, R&D, operations/ manufacturing, and commercial. She also works at the interface of healthcare and the public sector with global public health organizations. Gaëlle leads executive and Board searches, performs executive assessments, and advises clients in CEO succession and Boards in composition, effectiveness and renewal. In addition to the Health Practice, Gaëlle is also active in the Egon Zehnder’s Public and Social Sector, CEO Succession, and Board Consulting practices.
Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Gaëlle was an Associate Principal with McKinsey & Company, based in Geneva with a strong focus on health care. Previously, she was a researcher in particle physics at CERN, the largest international high energy physics lab, based in Geneva. A Swiss, French and Spanish national, Gaëlle was born and raised in Barcelona, Spain. She moved to Geneva to work at CERN.
Gaëlle earned a BA in physics followed by an MA and PhD in particle physics from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.
