Josh Solera is based in Houston and leads Egon Zehnder’s Services Practice in the US as well as the Transport & Logistics and Aviation segments. He also works extensively in the Supply Chain & Operations, and Private Capital Practices. Josh conducts executive and board search as well as management appraisals and supports the accelerated integration of transitioning executives.

Before joining Egon Zehnder’s team, Josh was an Engagement Manager with McKinsey & Company, where he led numerous projects in the global transport and private equity sectors, with a particular focus on airlines and freight rail. His assignments there included strategy, commercial improvement, organization design, and renewal. Josh also served on McKinsey’s internal Values Task Force. He started his career at the Parthenon Group, a leading boutique management consulting firm, where he advised clients on strategy and private equity acquisitions.
Josh earned an AB in history and French from Duke University and an MBA with distinction from Harvard Business School. He is married with three children and his extended family plays an important role in his life. Josh is active around Houston as a member of the Advisory Board of the Hermann Park Conservancy, a volunteer at his children’s school and an avid fan of the Houston Astros. He is passionate about exploring cities and running in marathons.
