Michele Moncrief, based in Houston, is a trusted advisor to clients on leadership assessment and development as well as board and executive search. Michele leads the Human Resources practice for North America and is a core member of the Industrial/Energy Practice group, serving her clients across the full range of their talent and leadership priorities.

Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Michele was with McKinsey & Company. Most recently, Michele was a leader on that firm’s professional development team, building consultant capabilities through evaluation, training and coaching and ensuring a strong talent pipeline for the North American energy and materials sector. Earlier, as an Engagement Manager she drove performance improvements for industrial, logistics and technology clients, primarily in commercial topics, growth strategy and organizational effectiveness.
Michele earned a BA in Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. Outside work, Michele can often be found with her husband supporting and cheering on their daughters in their various pursuits (basketball, volleyball, piano and more).
