Before joining Egon Zehnder, Karthik was a Senior Market Access Manager at Roche Pharma in Mumbai, mentoring regional access specialists and heading key national market access projects. That was preceded by a stint at Tata Trusts, where he led a flagship program focused on livelihood generation and managed pilot interventions for addressing micronutrient deficiencies. Karthik launched his career at Tata Administrative Services (TAS), and spent time across different businesses within the Tata Group.
Karthik earned a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in computing with Honors from Birla Institute of Technology and Science in Pilani and followed it up with an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) in Calcutta . Outside work, he is passionate about social change and leverages his personal network and resources to help marginalized sectors of the community, in addition to advising governments on livelihood generation, poverty alleviation, and achieving climate resilience. In his free time, Karthik enjoys reading and spending time with his wife and their dog.
