Amy Cornwell

Amy Cornwell, based in London, is active in Egon Zehnder’s Travel & Hospitality and Consumer practices. In addition to conducting senior-level talent searches, she works with organizations to improve the effectiveness of their leadership teams.

I’m inspired by the opportunity to work closely with leaders and colleagues on projects that can be real game changers for our clients.

Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Amy held the role of Marketing and Commercial Director with Giraffe Restaurants in London, having been brought in by Tesco to reposition the brand ahead of its sale. Before that she was a full-time Consultant for Jordans & Ryvita (Associated British Foods) and Active Private Equity. Earlier, Amy joined the Gondola Group to turn around Kettner’s, its floundering flagship restaurant brand, as Managing Director. She began her career as a Strategy Consultant at the Boston Consultant Group in London and New York, focusing on consumer goods and retail clients, including a secondment to Limited Brands. Amy has also cofounded and led MOMA, an award-winning startup specializing in healthy breakfasts, where she now serves in a nonexecutive capacity.

Amy earned an MA in Economics and Management from Pembroke College, Oxford University, and an MBA (Dean’s list) from INSEAD.
