Based in Los Angeles, Sarah Rome co-leads Egon Zehnder’s US Retail, Apparel, and Luxury Goods Practice. She is also active in firm’s CEO Search, Founder Succession, and Board Advisory and Effectiveness practices. Sarah advises leaders and founders of high-influence, culturally relevant brands in retail and omnichannel organizations, from the disruptors to the traditional and loved heritage brands. Sarah has deep expertise working with companies across the consumer sector investing in building and scaling their brands and digital capabilities, drawing upon her career track record in retail.

Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Sarah built her career in retail at Staples, where she held several leadership roles, including Vice President of Merchandising. She began her career as a Consultant in Accenture's Change Management Practice, based in San Francisco and Paris, where she advised retail, technology, and hospitality clients.
Sarah has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California at Berkeley and an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
