Luis Carvajal is an active member of firm's Technology and Communications Practice, with a particular focus on telecommunications and technology. He provides leadership consulting, search, and assessment services to multinational, regional, and local clients. Luis is also part of the Services, Executive Assessment and Development, and Board Consulting Practices.
I’m very passionate about helping boards and executive teams solve their toughest business problems, and enjoy helping people unlock their greatest potential while being happy at the same time.
Before joining Egon Zehnder’s team, Luis was a Partner at Bain & Company, where he spent 12 years working with multinational companies around the globe, primarily in the technology and telecom space. Earlier, he was an IT consultant at Andersen Consulting. Luis began his career at a Spanish venture capital firm specializing in turnarounds.
Luis earned a BSc in computer science from Tufts University in Massachusetts and an MBA from INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France. He also recently completed the Singularity University Executive Program and the MIT Innovation Program.
Outside of work, Luis mentors startups, is passionate about making movies and photography, and studies the implications of AI. He belongs to several nonprofit organizations including the Singularity University, Endeavor, and the Association for Corporate Growth.
