María, based in Madrid, has expertise in the services industry, and supports search, assessment and development of boards and executive teams. I am passionate about guiding executive teams through transformational change. My focus is to discover and empower exceptional leaders to create a positive and lasting impact throughout their organizations and, ultimately, on society as a whole.
Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, María was a Consultant at Bain & Company. She was active in supporting clients from various sectors in Europe, and specially in Advanced Manufacturing and Services (AMS), M&A, Operating Model and ESG. She has been involved in strategic plans definition and has mainly enjoyed accompanying clients along their transformation journey: implementation, project management and capability building.
María has a BA in Architecture from the Polytechnic University of Madrid, an MBA from London Business School, and an exchange at New York University. Outside of work, Maria loves spending time with her husband and daughter, and enjoying the company of her friends. She is passionate about anything related to creativity, design, and cuisine, and has published a cookbook.
