Based in Dubai since 2008, Golnaz leads Egon Zehnder’s Consumer and Retail Practice in the Middle East, serving regional and multinational clients in consumer-focused industries, including FMCG manufacturers and distributors as well as regional groups and family-owned businesses with interest in Consumer and Retail sectors. She has been involved in top-level executive searches, management appraisals, and CEO succession planning. Golnaz is also the regional champion for some of the Firm’s functional practices, including Chief Human Resources Officers, Chief Communications and Public Affairs Officers, as well as Chief Legal, Regulatory and Compliance Practice group.

Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Golnaz was a Senior Associate with Booz & Company, based in Dubai, where she advised regional clients on corporate strategy, go to market initiatives, and achieving operational/competitive efficiencies with a focus primarily on the Consumer sectors. Before that, Golnaz was with the Richemont Group in a variety of operational, business development, and marketing roles, based in Tokyo and New York.
Golnaz earned a B.S. in information technology from the Tokyo Institute of Technology and an MBA from INSEAD. She also acquired a Japanese language diploma from the Tokyo University of Foreign Studies.
