Giovanni partners with leading investors and finance executives to build great teams and drive value creation by connecting capital and leadership. At the same time, he is dedicated to leadership development, working with complex companies across sectors to shape high-performing cultures and energize leaders to think differently and evolve.
I’m inspired by what’s possible when people, ideas, and resources connect and activate.
Before joining Egon Zehnder, Giovanni was an Associate Partner at McKinsey & Company, where he advised global corporations and governments on their most pressing issues, such as creating new business units to capitalize on macro trends, rethinking investments and capital deployment across sectors, and building strategic capabilities for future growth. Through his work with the People and Organizational Performance practice, Giovanni also contributed to shaping McKinsey’s perspective on the Future of Work.
After completing his undergraduate studies in economics, Giovanni graduated top of his class from Bocconi University with an MSc in International Management and earned an MBA with distinction from INSEAD, studying across Asia, the Middle East, and Europe. Outside work, Giovanni is passionate about art, literature, and music. Yet, he spends most of his free time trying to keep up with his wife, Charlotte, on hikes, routes, slopes, and unbeaten paths around the world.
