Clemens Fahrbach is active in Egon Zehnder’s Leadership Services Practice. He is a valued advisor on leadership development, organizational transformation and cultural change at corporations with a particular focus on enabling agile organizations. Clemens has worked on these aspects with corporations across a variety of industries including health, technology, private equity and financial services.

In today’s accelerating and disruptive world, leaders and management teams face unique challenges. Supporting their personal and professional journeys in developing the mindsets, behaviors and skills needed to lead, grow and thrive inspires me every day.

Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Clemens was a consultant with McKinsey & Company, Inc. leading projects in North America, Europe and Asia. During that time, he concentrated on developing management teams and large-scale cultural transformation programs. Clemens also served as a core member of McKinsey’s Agile Interest Group and developed and managed diagnostic and intervention tools for helping leaders and organizations become more agile. Together with colleagues, he built and ran the Young Leaders Forum, a global leadership development program for high-potential individuals at private, public and nonprofit organizations.

Clemens earned a Master’s in Psychology from Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich and received training in leadership and entrepreneurship at the Bavarian Elite Academy, a program for gifted students with leadership potential that is supported by the state of Bavaria, industry and various universities. He is also due to complete a PhD in agile organizations from Ludwig Maximilian University in 2019. Outside work, Clemens is passionate about spending time in nature and doing sports, especially hiking, sailing and soccer. He also supports various social activities and student associations as a trainer, mentor and coach.
