Based in New York, Amanda Brown is active in Egon Zehnder’s Banking and Markets practice, focusing on banking, capital markets, and private capital with a special focus on investor relations. Before joining Egon Zehnder, Amanda was a Vice President on Blackstone Credit & Insurance’s Institutional Client Solutions team, focused on marketing and client relationships. That was preceded by the role of Vice President on Anchorage Capital’s Investor Relations team in New York. Previously, Amanda spent several years with J.P. Morgan in both sales and syndicate roles on the Securitized Products trading desk, developing and maintaining relationships with institutional clients and proposing effective financing solutions for companies.
Amanda earned a BA (honors) in politics from Princeton University with a concentration in International Relations. She also played on its nationally ranked women’s basketball team and is passionate about giving back to the next generation of student athletes, currently in the role of communications chair for the Friends of Princeton Basketball alumni group. Amanda also enjoys spending time and traveling with her husband and their young son.
