Based in São Paulo, Roberta Tenenbaum is a dedicated professional who leverages her broad experience and sharp mind to foster and support clients as an active member of Egon Zehnder’s Industrial, Energy & CleanTech, and Financial Services practices. She is in her element working on projects involving leadership and organizational development, attracting and retaining management talent, and transforming corporate cultures to drive healthy growth.

Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Roberta acquired broad industry experience, most recently at Atiaia Renováveis (part of the Cornélio Brennand Group) in São Paulo as its Energy Commercialization Director reporting directly to the CEO. Before that she was the Brand and Culture Development Director of AES Corporation working in Brazil while reporting directly to its headquarters in Arlington, Virginia. Previously, Roberta was at AES Brazil where she held multiple roles including Chief of Staff to the CEO, Treasury Manager, Investor Relations Manager, and Market Intelligence Director. Earlier, she worked as an Equity Analyst at Dynamo Administração de Recursos and Relationship Manager at Banco BBM.
Roberta earned a BS in industrial engineering from Pontificia Universidade Catolica do Rio de Janeiro, followed by graduate studies in finance and capital markets at Fundacão Getúlio Vargas, also in Rio. She rounded out her training by obtaining certification from the Fuld-Gilad-Herring Academy of Competitive Intelligence in Boston and completing a course at the Stanford University Graduate School of Business. Roberta stays physically and mentally fit by working out at the gym and meditating daily, and enjoys spending time with her children.
